Short term:

Staff -

Staff training : make staff aware of what is available on common sense media, hwb resources, CEOP website etc

Parents -

Assess parental needs : what digital issues are parents worried about?

Links to common sense media guidance on seesaw/school app and website

Pupils -

Assess pupil areas of interest and any digital issues/concerns : digital worry box?

What apps are children using? Get the children to share the apps they live and the things they enjoy doing digitally

Medium term:

Staff -

Lessons: have a go at some of the lessons available on hwb online safety resource

Collaboration: CR to collaborate with S.Kirby @ Ysgol Hafod on digital citizenship 'fake news' project

Parents -

Compile data: share data with parents about our school digital footprint e.g.: % of children who would rather lose their sense of small than their tech

Parent experts: areas of interest that parents could share with children e.g. Parents that make websites or write code

Pupils -

Pupil voice: set up school YouTube channel to promote activities we are doing in school and to engage learners in talking about our school

Collaboration: school to school project with Ysgol Hafod on 'Fake news'

Long term:

Staff -

Sharing expertise with each other, host drop in sessions, present at parent meetings or to governors about a specific digital issue

Map and track DCF skills

Parents -

Attend annual digital parent meet or showcase of digital issues presented by children. Each could focus on a different issue e.g.: screen time, online identity, cyber bullying. Could also watch children perform drama and role play based on digital issues.

Pupils-

Manage the school YouTube channel
