         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Exploring Positional Words</strong></p><p><br>Students will demonstrate understanding of positional words by responding to verbal cues, manipulating objects, and representing positions through drawings.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Description of Activity:</strong><br>Students will begin with a physical <em>Simon Says</em> game using positional words (e.g., “put your hands above your head,” “stand behind your chair”). Next, using a toy animal and a plastic cup, they will follow teacher prompts to place the animal in different positions (e.g., in, on, under, next to, behind, in front of, between).
