Recently many of our children have been especially interested in copying drawings and re-creating images that they have seen around them. Mostly, they enjoy asking an adult to help them to find an image on the iPad, then copying it. They also like to look at images we have placed in the Ikea Tolsby frames and using them to create different crafts.

Looking at small details and observing closely is a skill which is sure to benefit the children's learning in the long run. Currently the main interest in drawing is in rainbow flowers and armies; we will observe to see whether this interest continues.
