Donovan does a heroic act that sparks a mystery in the Town of HardCastle over who is the hero. Noah took the position for Donovan and Noah becomes famous to the point where Noah is recognized by the state governor. As Noah grows more famous he slowly starts to loose is friend Donovan because Noah is bombarded with interviewers and people which makes it harder to spend time with Donovan. Noah feels as if Donovan doesn't want to be friends so Noah acts like they aren't good friends even though inside it hurts him to see his best friend this way. Their friendship seems to crumble a little bit because of Noah's unintentional actions, such as Noah trying to act cool, which  make Donovan feel abandoned
