You can get greens and fresh produce but often there are little options. On top of having little options, you probably have to travel a ways away to get what you want, and iv noticed there usually pretty disappointing. I have come upon some slimy nasty lettuce, and its really not appealing, i don't want to put that in my body. When i go out in search of good produce im looking for good looking, fresh smelling, organics and im dumb founded at the options. Its scary to think in a small well cultured and wealthy town i cant find abundant organics. If i want to get what im really looking for i have to drive 60 miles, this is a very unsustainable practice, and today, its all around us.We need community gardens, roof top gardens, back yard gardens, really what ever we can get and that still wont be enough. I feel we need to transform our society, we need to become more sustainable. I love when i see little back yard gardens, it puts a smile on my face, gives me a burst of joy, but i certainly don't see it enough. We need our community to come together and make change. We need to support sustainable farmers, and not let them get pushed away by these major company's and corporations that are ruining our country. We need to abolish food deserts. Come together as one society, and actually do something, im feed up with just having ideas and needs that i cant do anything about.
