Through this song, I was able to feel the expressions and emotions I could not feel during my daily living. I would occasionally remember the struggles and the had work of my parents whilst raising me and my sister. I would think whenever my mother would take care of me whenever I'm having a hard time or a mental breakdown. She would support my decisions and stand by my side, even if we would lead to arguments and misunderstandings just like how my father would often show his affectionate side. . In this song ‘’Salamat’’ by Yeng Constantino, is a way of expressing how thankful I am for my parents’ unconditional love and support. They are willing to suffer and sacrifice so our life would be great. My parents are the most precious gift of God for us. This song reminded me of my Mother and Father even though the doing is only for my mother. It reminded me of them because they help me through the tough times and they help me when I'm in hurt. They buy things for me to enjoy my life before it's too late.
