Review your Draft and/or Research Project Materials. Then, do the following 1) Formulate a key question you're working on in your draft right now, 2) Find a partner and share your question and project, discussing the similarities and differences in terms of where you are with your respective projects, 3) Then make a post describing the conversation you and your partner had and what you plan to focus on in your draft today as a result.

how can I connect my research from the past and present in a way that's relevant to my claim? We mostly had the same question but in different context. Something that we thought of was to find specific ideas from past and present research and connect them together that way.

I agree, I think that I put a bunch of unnecessary information that can be easily cut out without making a difference in what I wanted to get across.

What are the topic sentences/supporting reasons I need that would work with the evidence I already have? We described our topics, then saying where we were at in terms of writing the essay. We then said our question, and talked about the difference of where we are at in what we have to do. My goal today is to brainstorm the supporting reasons I need, then start my second paragraph.

How can I connect my past and present research without rambling or presenting data?

David and I had similar questions so we just talked through our ideas on expanding and connecting ideas to our past. I pointed out ways that I tried to do that within my text but David and I had different approaches so it wasn't all necessarily helpful for him. For me, he pointed out the differences between his past strikes and elaborating on those rather than all of the similarities. I might take that into consideration while writing today.

With Zula, we connected on the fact that we need to summarize and get our points across without rambling so she said to just point out the main idea and work from there. I might take that into consideration as well.

1) I'd say my key question I'm working on in my draft right now would be: Why are women in the workplace so under looked such as seeing women as "weak" or "too sensitive" or "too busy with personal life" .

2) We mainly talked about the similarities which were that we both talked about women and how they are treated or viewed like in the workplace. The difference is that mine is with an actual employer who pays taxes but Charly's is the opposite and also the work is completely different.

3) We both talked about how we need to find more sources and along with that i need to cut things off in mine while in his he needs to add more on his.

Question: how can the psychology of power explain why employers may abuse their power and the laws?

Based on the conversation, I've realized that as I write I'm still finding gaps for further research which put me a little behind as I am still currently working on my first body paragraph. However, I was able to find a source to use as evidence over the weekend specifically pertaining to the general psychology behind power. Today I plan to finally finish my first body paragraph by connecting the psychology to why employers today disregard anti-discrimination laws as they may feel they are above the law.

Question: How can I properly elaborate on my reasons using my research and my opinion? Me and Jaylee's projects are similar because of the small gaps in research creating a wall as we write. Our essays also focus on similar things, like discrimination, and policies not showing necessary effectiveness. I think I will focus on the analysis parts of my body paragraphs today.
