I was talking to David and Lia and they mentioned that I should just focus on the main ideas of my topic instead of just rambling on and on. I agree, I think that I put a bunch of unnecessary information that can be easily cut out without making a difference in what I wanted to get across.

David and I had similar questions so we just talked through our ideas on expanding and connecting ideas to our past. I pointed out ways that I tried to do that within my text but David and I had different approaches so it wasn't all necessarily helpful for him. For me, he pointed out the differences between his past strikes and elaborating on those rather than all of the similarities. I might take that into consideration while writing today.

With Zula, we connected on the fact that we need to summarize and get our points across without rambling so she said to just point out the main idea and work from there. I might take that into consideration as well.

• The similarities we found were that we both discussed problems and injustices that occur in the workplace. We both need to find more sources to build our arguments.

• My topic talks about non legitimate businesses, while Keylly's is focused on already established companies. My topic talks about the criminalization of sex workers, while Keylly focuses on the struggle for equal treatment

2) We mainly talked about the similarities which were that we both talked about women and how they are treated or viewed like in the workplace. The difference is that mine is with an actual employer who pays taxes but Charly's is the opposite and also the work is completely different.

3) We both talked about how we need to find more sources and along with that i need to cut things off in mine while in his he needs to add more on his.

Based on the conversation, I've realized that as I write I'm still finding gaps for further research which put me a little behind as I am still currently working on my first body paragraph. However, I was able to find a source to use as evidence over the weekend specifically pertaining to the general psychology behind power. Today I plan to finally finish my first body paragraph by connecting the psychology to why employers today disregard anti-discrimination laws as they may feel they are above the law.

My partner was Julian and we shared our topics, questions, and the differences in where we are in our project. Julian is focusing on reasons for his topic sentences and I'm focusing on what specific events I can use to connect the past to the present. Mainly trying to lighten how many sources I already have.

What I need to do today is find key words that will help transitioning between my paragraphs.
