         <description><![CDATA[<div>Not just written feedback - verbal is very valuable and is accessible to the majority of pupils in our school.&nbsp;<br>Not onerous - any written feedback is valuable to the pupil, so that time spent marking is not wasted.&nbsp;<br>Some recognition of the positives - not just when something needs correcting - a chance to celebrate the achievements, even if it’s a thumbs up, stamp or verbally.&nbsp;<br>Providing feedback instantly and at a later date as this can aid retrieval, retention and consolidation of new skills.<br>Ellen<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>The marking should be for the child to ensure they make rapid progress not used as a &#39;tick box.&#39; It should be short &amp; purposeful for the child. In the lesson is instant feedback where the child can act on it there &amp; then &amp; progress can be seen. </title>
