The Shahada is the declaration of faith, the most fundamental belief in Islam. It is a statement of belief that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger.

2.Salat (Prayer)

Salat refers to the five daily prayers that Muslims are required to perform at specific times throughout the day. These prayers are a direct link between the worshipper and Allah.

3. Zakat (Almsgiving)

Zakat is the obligation to give a portion of one's wealth to those in need. It is a form of charity and is one of the ways Islam encourages social justice and wealth redistribution.

4. Sawm (Fasting)

Sawm is the practice of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, which is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, abstaining from food, drink, smoking, and marital relations.

5. Hajj (Pilgrimage)

Hajj is the pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, and it is required of Muslims who are physically and financially able to perform it at least once in their lifetime.

The first pillar is the belief in the oneness of Allah (Tawhid). Allah is the only God, without any partners or associates.

Muslims believe in the existence of angels, who are spiritual beings created by Allah. Angels are assigned various tasks, such as delivering Allah’s messages to the prophets, recording the deeds of humans, and guiding believers.

Muslims believe in the prophets sent by Allah to guide humanity. Prophets were chosen individuals who received revelations from Allah to convey His message to their people.

Muslims believe in the Day of Judgment, when every individual will be resurrected and judged by Allah for their deeds in this world.

Qadar refers to the belief in Allah’s predestination and divine will. Muslims believe that everything that happens in the universe, both good and bad, happens according to Allah’s will and plan.

• A woman asked the Prophet ﷺ to pray for her sickness.

• He gave her two choices:

  • Be patient and go to Paradise

  • Or be cured

• She chose patience, but asked the Prophet to pray that she stays covered during seizures.

• This shows modesty even during hard times. She is one of the people of Jannah (Paradise).

• Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah loves when you do something, do it with excellence (ihsan).”

• Make your salah beautiful by praying calmly and thinking deeply.

• Wudhu is not just cleaning your body, but also your heart.

  • How you act

  • How you keep your home, masjid, and community

Wudhu is broken if you:

• Sleep deeply or faint

• Release anything (urine, gas, etc.)

• Touch private parts directly

👉 Wiping the whole head is sunnah, not wajib.

🙇 Sujud Sahwi (Prostration for Mistakes)

Do this if you:

• Miss a required part of prayer by mistake (like a Sunat Ab’adh)

• Not needed for small mistakes (Sunat Hai’ah)
