1. Large degree of autonomy for students and teachers.
Thus, there is little disparity between students of different socio-economic status unlike in Myanmar.

2. Good Funding: All education is free except for adult education, this ensures that every Burmese child will be able to receive basic, education, irregardless of social background.

3.Little homework time: In Finland homework for 15-year-olds is limited to 30 minutes. With little homework time Myanmar children would have time to work and hence help to support family income. In this way there will be no reason for Burmese children to not attend school.

4) Teaching is a popular profession in Finland but not in Myanmar so by adopting the Finland's higher pay for the teaching profession, there would be an increase in the number of teachers in Myanmar

5) The majority of public schools in Myanmar have limited access to textbooks and supplies, so by adopting Finland's well developed system of study grants and loans, tens of thousands of children in Myanmar would not have to be sent to work on farms and tea shops and can get better jobs .

1. The problem of ethnic minorities in Myanmar being forced to choose state-run schools that do not teach in their native language can be overcome by the rapid development of foreign language training in Poland.

2. Compared to Myanmar's education style that is focused on rote learning, Poland places more importance on knowledge than on technical skills; "not just what students know but what they can do and how they can use their knowledge practically." This helps to cultivate greater creativity and innovation among the students in Myanmar, which will ensure a better-skilled workforce in the future.
As such, they will be more qualified for higher-paying jobs, and thus will be better able to support their families.

1. In the extract it is said that there are many ethnic minorities in Myanmar. similarly, India also has many ethnic groups. Therefore, since India and Myanmar face the same problem of ethnic groups, India's system offers the best practices tht will help improve Myanmar's education system

2. There are guaranteed places for the disadvantaged (in India) > help tackle problem of discrimination against ethnic minorities in Myanmar

3. India has many official state languages so the government is obliged to serve the needs of the different ethnic groups in the diverse ethnic regions in India. Similarly, in Myanmar, public schools can also teach in the native languages of the people.

4. School attendance rates are low in Myanmar: tens of thousands of children are sent to work as they are poor / no money to buy food. To tackle this problem, India has the "Midday Meal Scheme" which will help to provide them with free food.

SV: India's education system offers the best practices for Myanmar, as India has many official state languages so the government is obliged to serve the needs of the different ethnic groups in the diverse ethnic regions in India. Similarly, in Myanmar, public schools can also teach in the native languages of the people.

OV: However, some may argue that when the youths grow up and start working they would have to interact with one another. Therefore when they enter higher education, only having studied in their own official state language would not be sufficient to prepare them for communication in the workforce in future.
R: On the other hand, this argument assumes that majority language will be completely excluded. That is not true. The majority language will still be taught in schools, only that native languages are given a significant place as well. Also, even if the teaching of the majority language becomes diminished slightly, it is still important to teach in the students' native languages so that they can understand what is being taught and stay in school to start with.
