         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Upper income, well-educated Chinese-Americans joined the higher job forces. It was Chinese men that took advantage of this opportunity because they traveled to the US for college reasons. <br>-The new Chinese differed from older Chinese immigrants because the older immigrants owned little stores such as laundry or grocery and the new ones didn't. The new Chinese became doctors, scientist, and other high professional class of jobs. <br>-These new Chinese people blended in quickly into the American economic mainstream. They moved from from the Chinese ghettos to higher income communities. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The rise of the anti chinese  mobements and the enactment of anti chinese laws were driven out of most jobs and businesses. They were left with jobs in laundries,chinese restraunts,sweatshops etc.. Even those who were American born and college educated were unable to find jobs.  Chinese Americans were also descriminized.  Besides their enormous contribution to science and technology they were excel in art and literature. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The population were mostly males because laws in 1882 had restricted Chinese immigrants.<br>        - The law prohibited the wives of immigrants from coming and only allowed professionals and students, who were mostly male.<br><br>The US government gradually lifted the restrictions of Chinese immigrants and that changed the 1950's Chinese-American Communities. <br>           - Chinese women who married US soldiers and marines during WWII began arriving at a steady flow with their children. <br><br>In 1952 The government changed the laws to make it easier for Chinese women to join their Chinese-American husbands. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The growth and increase of the chinese americans population in the last three decades also rosed in education and employment. They will also wear traditional chinese clothing on special occasions and costumes were also worn for example in weedings it changed the tradition of Chinese weedings and was valued for that. The Issei people had multiple jobs and many families supported eachother. </div>]]></description>
