Bentong,Pahang : Floods in the area are very unexpected. There are many schools affected including SMK BENTONG . Housing areas that were not expected to be affected by floods were also affected. I'm and my family were in Kuantan Pahang at that time and had to rush back. However, we were stuck in Temerloh and had to sleep overnight there. The next day, on 19.12.2021 we tried to go back and managed to get there at night.Because our house was in a high area so we were not affected by the floods.The next day my parents helped the locals who were affected by the floods including their family members and also friends

I had my first experience of a flood in beginning of year, January 2022. I don't really remember the date when flood accurred in Bentong. Before I know Bentong was flooded, I go to family trip to Desaru in 3 days 2 nights. Then, I go to my aunts house because the family next to my father had a wedding feast. My dad plan we go back to Bentong after done eat. We go to my aunts house to pack things and suddenly my dad said we return to Bentong the next day. I have no friends to ask about the floods there. I heard my school area was flooded, my house was not flooded because it was a high place just below it was flooded like a convenience store. On the way home, the flood water had receded leaving only traces of mud to be cleaned up.

Bentong, Pahang : Floods in Bentong area was very unexpected. There are many school affected including SMK Bentong and SK Bukit Piatu. House area are also affected too. In Kuantan, Pahang are also affected by mud flood in Bentong. There's a lot of mud at everywhere including in houses and on street. My friend are also living at the flood area were also affected. My house was in high area, so were not affected by the floods. The next day, my family helped my uncle who were affected by the floods including his neighbour to clean all the mud at their area house. It's full of mud at everywhere and it's so rotten until they have to put mask on and continued clean all the mud...

At that time I was eating, then all of a sudden I saw water on the floor and I thought that it was water from a washing machine, maybe it’s broken. So, i just shake my thoughts off. Then,little by little the water starts to ascending. I ran to my mom and ask but my mom said it was a flood. At that time, i’m not quite sure what flood is so me, my brother and cousin played with the water. We didnt know that it was a filthy water. The water has reached my stomach and i was terrified at that time and dont know what to do. Suddenly, my father’s friend who lived nearby came and help us. He told us to stay at his house for a while and so we agree. The next day, we all go back to our house because the flood seems to has stopped.

On 18th December 2021, an unpredictable and traumatizing event had occured in Bentong, Pahang. There was a massive flood that day. Before the flood occured, I was playing with my phone and drinking coffee. I opened Whatsapp and I was informed about the flood. At first, I was shocked. I did not expect that a flood would occur in the middle of the night. But at the same time, I was thankful because my house was not affected by the flood. Additionally, I did feel sympathy for my friends who were affected. They had to save anything they could and leave their houses immediately. They most likely panicked during that. In addition, my school was also severely affected by the flood. The school's computer lab had drowned, meaning the computers inside the computer lab are most likely broken. I got all this information from social media. Some of the social media apps I used in order to get information about the flood are Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. In the end, this event was extremely hard to endure, since this natural disaster can cause death and many flood victims had lost their expensive belongings, such as televisions, fridges and vehicles.

I'm here with you guys to share my first experienced about been through a big flood in Temerloh 2014.Unfortunately I don't quite remembered about the date.Anyway,three or two days before it's already rained heavily.The water keep increased till it got inside my house.All my family moved our things to the upstairs since we lived in two storey house that timed.My parents literally prepared up of the incoming flood.We stayed at the upstairs and wait for the water to recede.We stayed for a quite long timed and when the water finally recede,we all went down to saw our living room,kitchen and our front gate got dirty.Our things such like cabinets,dinner table and the rest got destroyed.We all started to clean up things and throw away our broken stuff.When we finally done,we all got worn out.I literally can't forget this memory which is my first timed to got through a big flood.

BENTONG,PAHANG : In 19.12.2021,Bentong ,Pahang has been hit by flood and we are one of the flood victims. At that day, we were at home doing our own work . Out of the blue ,we heard fussing noise from car Infront my homes. Then, my neighbour told to get ready because the water was already raising. After we packed up our stuff, we headed to flood center until tomorrow morning. Then next morning ,we went to our house and we started to cleaning our house and throwing away unusable item even though we felt very sad and frustrated.

On that day, before the flood came, my family and I discussed wanting to return to the village in Kuala Lumpur after several months of not returning because of covid-19. After discussing, we got ready to go back to the village. While we were on our way, suddenly it rained heavily and it was very cold outside,but we had to continued our journey as it was about to arrive. As soon as we arrived, we got to ready for our dinner. and suddenly my grandfather in bentong called us in a panicked voice, at that time we wanted to go back to bentong but the road was full of cars. My mother was panicked because she didn't know what to do ans then she called her close friends in Bentong to ask for help to bring my grandfather to a safe place. And we had to sleep even in a state of panic. And the next day we went to the mall to buy clothes because we didn't bring clothes, because we just want to visit our grandmother.After buying clothes at the mall,suddenly my parents wanted to go back to Bentong, I said I wanted to follow them but they didn't let me follow because they said it's dangerous at there.I had to stay with my siblings for about 3 days.And after that we went back to bentong and i have to help my parents clean my grandpa house because the situation in the house is very bad.Thank God my house was not flooded

There was an unexpected flood incident on the night of 18th December 2021 in my residential area after three consecutive days of rain. At that time I was in the room and heard a noise outside the house. I was shocked because the water was overflowing from the drain next to my house. Our family was very shocked as there had never been a flood before. This is the first time our family faced it.Our family moved to a temporary evacuation center in SK Bukit Piatu that night. After the water receded the next morning, our family went back home and cleaned our house.

Floods in Bentong , Pahang area wasa very unexpected . There are many school directed closed, except SMK Bentong and every schools are floods . Houses near schools were also flooded. Even though I never felt like fancing a flood , but I used to clean up the mud in my grandmother's village . When I was in the car , I saw many houses destroyed by the flooded. I was so sad for that . Furthermore, when floods we can die if we panic . So , we should calm down and save the essentials in our house . If the flood has reached the roof , you should bring foods and water .And the most importantly , you should stay and sit until the savior comes.At the same time , I saw many children playing with flood water. We know that flood water is not clean and dirty , but we leave the children to play with it. So , as a parents , we should told to our children and teach how to handle situations when floods.

Natural disasters floods are one of the most dangerous disasters. There are several locations that have experienced flooding. For example, Bentong, Pahang in December 2021. Some flood victims who did not have time to save their valuables. The flood at that time was the worst flood ever in Bentong, Pahang. There are several houses that have been damaged. Many shops have lost their goods due to this natural disaster. In conclusion, floods are natural disasters that we need to fear because we can die during floods. If this natural disaster occurs we need to be prepared and move to a safe place. That's just the story of the flood.

Bentong, Pahang: The floods in this area are very unexpected. When I found out that Bentong had been affected by the floods, my family and I were in Kelantan. And my mom told me there were so many buildings and schools affected including my apartment. In my apartment, the water rises up to a 1-floor sink or 18 feet. But my apartment is on the 3rd floor so not affected by the flood, and I'm felt good about that. But I'm felt pounding and bad because there were still many people in the apartment. Three of my friend's apartments were affected when the floods hit. My friend told me that water started coming in from the toilet pit. And the apartment was very ruined. My family and I can't help my friend and others because I'm still in Kelantan. I'm felt so bad about that.

My house at the KARAK TAMAN WIJAYA.The incident happened at dusk where all the neighbors who where there shouted that water had risen.All the neighbors there went to see what had happened,some quickly packed their things so that belongings did not get wet.My father listened the flood warning went to see the situations first,my father saw that water in the front house had risen.At that time,my father quickly came in and told my youngers brother to wake up and say that the water had risen....so i got up and helped my father to block the water entering the house,then i put my belongings and my siblings belonging at the top bed.I have bunk bed so my belonging and my dike will be safe in up there.A few minutes later the water was overflowing everywhere...i hastened to help my father to unload the important items that need to be brought.

After that,we left the house and went behind the hill where the has a housing contructions site that has not been completed.Completely we have reached the construcions and all our neighbor staying there.Our family stayed there for a while.After two days,all our neighbor wanted to go safest place....my family and the neighbor are getting ready to go safest place.....my family and the neighbor left the constucions site together with the neighbor who where there.On the way,we passed a wood factory next to the flooded areas and we saw some cars that where there,then got on the car.

On the way,the car headed to Karak National High School.We were happy because we got temporary accommodation there.A few months later,the situasions slowly subsided and we could life happily.

Floods in bentong pahang are very unexpected.Here is my experience get into floods.When me and family found out that the floods is coming we put our valuebles item at a higher place include our car.Me and my family has to get out from our house to go place that safe and high.We have to sleep at kafa for one day until the water is drain.We supposed to go to the school but the way to go there the water has block the way to enter the school,some of people got into the school.After the water drain we go back home and clean our house.The floods at my house area is bad too but the other place is even worse. That's all my experience getting flood bye.
