The original Animal Welfare Act only focuses on warm-blooded animals, yet excludes mice, rats, birds, and fish, which make up ninety-five percent of the animals tested. Amendments later passed included more animals into the Welfare Act, but the rights of animals have not been updated since.</div>]]></description>
