For several years i've had to wear glasses to be able to see longer distances, I had already been having a hard time reading the board from the back of a classroom before this and I found it concerning that I had to wear them. Most days i don't mind wearing glasses but sometimes I think of it more so a reminder that I spend too much time looking at a screen. It makes me feel guilty sometimes when i think about how expensive they were.

I have 2 older siblings that had access to the internet before me and so i always took interest in being able to chek it out for my self. I found it extremely engaging spending several hours browsing youtube or playing games which was pretty unusual for kids my age, most others took interests in other things usually a sport to keep themselves occupied.

After 4 years of primary school i swapped to a different school causing me to lose the connections I had built up until that point. I often have a hard time communicating at school so it was hard knowing I would have to make new friends all over again. I spent most of my first year at my new school alone but in this time I would find what would come to be a life-long friend but also that I had little in common with others my age.

DVDs and Television

I watched many movies as a kid, likely because it was a simple way to keep me entertained so that I didn't bother my parents but also because I had a plethora of options available to me. Unfortunately this caused me to have no common ground with other people my age which pushed me towards social isolation.
