Thesis: When you feel something is important and needs to be changed or made aware in your community you take the necessary actions to change it. All throughout history people from all of the world have stood up for all different kinds of beliefs by protesting, rallying, and taking other forms of action. Some who didn't actually participate in the action chose to contribute through promotion of others challenging society. These people all had a similar goal, however certain people did not make change through the right and absolutely necessary actions they need to take.

Claims:1) One of the common and socially acceptable ways of challenging someone of something in society is to protest or rally. The definitions of protest and riot are similar in the fact that they both involve people who want to come together to voice their opinion about something they disagree with. They are different in the fact that the action people take in a protest are still respectful and do not cause violence destruction of property. Unfortunately in the last couple years i think the definitions of these two words have gotten confused by those who challenge society and when this happens they believe they have justification for their actions that were completely unnecessary, disrespectful and wrong.
2) The difference between the article written by John Branch and Shawn King is that one publicizes the protest in a necessary,respectful,and thought provoking way and the other publicizes the protest in a completely unnecessary,racist,anger provoking, and disrespectful way.

Claim: Any moral cause is worth a try for any injustices with humanity. The attempt is already worth it, and progress will come.

Thesis: Society is filled with obstacles, some of which never end up in a positive or fair way. Although there are these problems- with seemingly impossible solutions- many influential people have overcome them, and became some of our biggest heroes.

Claim 1: Martin Luther King Jr. challenged society when the face of discrimination and hate revealed itself over time. With the gun of racism aimed at his head, he boldly protested, and changed society for the better.

Thesis
Society has such a tight vice over our nation's opinions and decisions, so much so that it decides how we react to others opinions whether or not they are positive or negative, it still has that echo effect. But it is so difficult to not follow society's standards, it is so difficult to change the views of those who do not wish to be changed. We need someone who inspires us to to turn a different direction in this mindless heard we call our world.
Claim Kapernicks decision to stand against our pledge caused an echo affect of familiarity and caused everyone to either (not really) riot against him, or for him

Thesis: Whenever we have an ignorant leader in society they just fuel the fire of others who already have hate within them. It's causing frustration to those getting hated on thus for creating a conflict that leads to others having no choice but to stand up for their rights. People feel that they have something to defend and they have the right to act and fight back.

Claim: According to the article "Islamophobia" it shows some peoples true colors and bashes Islam therefore causing a conflict with others and Islam. Others and myself wants this to stop and we do have to stand for ourselves even if others don't stand with us.

When challenging society there comes a point when u need to stand up by Protesting, Educating, and Introducing new ideas. We can see evidence with this from people standing up and changing the world to just people not wanting to stand up
