• Role: I served as the leader on assigning team members tasks and video editor on our business pitching video.

The lesson that I learnt from doing business at first time is the power of networking and promoting. Nowadays teenagers are using mobile phone most of the time. It was a great opportunity to promote our product online such as on Instagram and Facebook. Other than that, time management is important on doing business also. As a student, we need to balance the time between our school work and part time business. Furthermore, our financial management matters. For examples, tracking expenses, managing cash flow and sales is important on business. We need to update and calculate financial management report to track the profit or loss of our business and give the relative strategy based on the situation.

Luckily, our project was successfully ended and we earned RM84.

What I learned from this experience is that selling things is not that easy and it takes time for a business to grow and develop. I also learned that we need to build a strong relationship with our customers in order for them to continue doing business with us. Maybe in the future I can start doing a different business with the knowledge I have gained since.
