One day at a nature shop,
I met a man selling happiness,
For money he wanted to swap,
But I really wanted some snappiness.

"Got any snappiness?" asked I.
"For that's how I'll spend my money."
"No snappiness here!" said the guy.
He seemed to find it quite funny.

"We've got some lovely wonder,
I'll give you a very fine price."
"I'd rather have some going under."
The man blinked rapidly thrice.

The man seemed exceptionally curious,
And his manner was strangely amused.
He wasn't what I would call furious,
Great disdain he noticeably oozed.

Like others, he thought I was odd,
Some say I'm a bit tall.
Still he gave me a courteous nod,
As if he thought I was plenty cool.

So in search of my goal I departed,
But before the nature shop could I leave,
The man came running full-hearted,
"I can help you I believe."

"Happiness, snappiness, you shall find.
Wonder, going under, you can get.
You must now open your mind,
And get down to farmers Market.

So to farmers Market I decided to go,
In search of the snappiness I craved.
The winds it did eerily blow.
But I felt that the day could be saved.

There were stalls selling rings,
Strawberry in many shades.
There were even stalls selling wings
People were scattered from many trades

I was greeted by a peculiar lady,
She seemed to be rather tall
I couldn't help thinking she might be quite shady.
I wondered if she was at all cool.

Before I could open my mouth,
She shouted, "For you, I have some snappiness!"
I headed towards her, to the south,
Past some wonder and happiness.

"But how did you know?" I asked,
"Do you want them or not?" she did say.
Silently, the snappiness she passed.
Then vanished before I could pay.

As I walked away I hard a crackle

Man was it beautiful from being from Kansas I have never seen anything like it. I saw a lot of different types of birds while going along, even though I really didn't know what kinds of birds they were. As I was going up this trail I happened to see a lot of bear poop and I started to get worried but I am lucky I didn't come across one. One thing that really caught my attention was the creek I came across. It was very beautiful and crystal clear I never seen anything like it. I noticed lots of lantern flies, an invasive bug that kills trees. I stepped on a few and squished as many as I found. There are strict instructions to do so in every building in Pennsylvania. During this time, Plumas County was surrounded by forest fires. When i would observe outside I felt scary, worrisome, and uneasy about the future of the town i grew up in. Quincy has been such a beautiful home to live in for all of my 23 years of life, and to wonder if it was going to survive a fire, had my feeling very unsettled. Plumas county is known for the rural beauty of the mountains and trees but every year around the same time we are always threatened with the loss of the beauty. Our job is to separate the plastic from the metal and glass and place them in separate trash bag. We came upon this massive tree (looks bigger in person) and I took the time to think about how long this tree may have been living for. It puts life into perspective that we truly are tiny and beyond just us and our earth, who knows how big things can get.
