Yes making new friends was going to be hard and you and your friends get separated in classes but you get to make new friends! The staff in the middle school is very nice and they all want you to succeed. If you stay organized and you push yourself to work hard the year will be super easy and fast. Consider joining clubs and sports to make friends and stay active with school. I know this all seems like a lot just take a deep breath. Try not to load yourself with too much work. If you get lost, there is staff in each hall and if you ask them they tell you exactly where to go. If you have any questions you can email me and I will answer them. But, be cautious during your 5 minute passing time, because a lot of teachers will mark you late. Please go up and down the stairs where it says to. Otherwise, you will be yelled at by a huge group of kids. Your classes may be spread throughout the downstairs and upstairs, so think about the materials you might want to bring to your classes in preparation for the next one. The teachers are so kind, and the workload can be a lot or little based on how much you listen in class. Just be sure to turn it in early or the day it is due. Make sure you read and listen to every direction. Seventh grade teachers will mark you down if you do not follow the guidelines. Do not be on your teachers bad side, and put in a lot of effort in your school work. Take the time to chat with your friends and keep being who you are. There are so many great classes and teachers that you will meet. Don't fret about going to the Junior High. You need to enjoy each and every second in seventh grade. If you are struggling, do not hesitate to ask your teacher or a trusted friend. MAKE sure that when you are studying for an important test or working on an important essay, take a good chunk of your time to work on it.
