   He learned devanagari script and he could recite by memory long section of the Hithopadesha. After two years he was taken to a Vernacular school. Where he proposed until 1897 where he was sent to an English school in Galle Called Buona Vista. He wrote many books Gamperaliya, Kaliyugaya, Madoldoova, Ape gama, Upandasita are some of them

Sangakkara was a member of the squad for the 2007 cricket world cup, 2011 cricket world cup and 2009 ICC world twenty20 finals. Won man of the match award in the final of the 2014 ICC world twenty20. He retired from cricket in 2015 with 15 years of experience.

He wrote this based on his 19 years of experience as an open prisoner of king Rajasinghe 2 who ruled Ceylon at that time. This book titled "Eda  Heladiva" was translated by Devid Karunarathne in 1958.
           
           In 1959 two Knox sailing from fort st.George to their homeland were caught in a storm and the ship sank and sank off the coast of Ceylon. Knox made a living by weaving hats, trading in merchandise, and trading in rice and wheat.
             
           1680 Knox joins the East India company and becomes a ship captain. Retired in 1694, he opened his own private merchant vessel, the Mery. Knox died in 1720 June 19 in London, United Kingdom. He loved Sri Lanka very much.

                Anne Frank


Anne Frank is a German diarist that born into a Jewish family on 12th June 1929 in Frankfurt. Otto Frank and Edith are parents of little Anne.

During that time the German Chancellor Adolf Hitler ordered to annuities for the Jews. Fearing death Anne Frank and the family migrated to Netherland and established in Amsterdam. In there she began to learn in a Dutch school. But it was not too long. 

On the arrival of her 13th birthday, she received a diary and she started to write about her experiences and feelings at this time. She wrote it in the form of a letter to an imaginary friend.

But in 1944 August they were arrested by the German army and sent to several concentration camps.
They're very, unfortunately, Anne Frank died out of sickness at age 15.

Only her father was escaped alive. Later he finds her diary and published it 1947. This book becomes world famous from century to century.

She is a wonderful, strong girl that understood the reality of life. Anne could be here today as she would continue to be a great writer.

W. R. D. Bandaranaike and known by the Sri Lankan people as "The Silver Bell of Asia". He was the fourth Prime Minister of the Sri Lanka. He was born on 8th January 1899. His father was Sir Solomon Dias Bandaranaike. His mother was Daisy Ezline Obeyesekere. He was tutored at his home, Horagolla Walauwa, by Mr. Henry Young, and for a short time attended S. Thomas' College, Mutwal, where he boarded with the warden, Rev. Arthur William Stone. He passed his Senior Cambridge examinations.

Bandaranaike became active in local politics. He got elected as the Chairman of the Nittambuwa Village Committee in his family seat. He became Secretary of the Ceylon National Congress (CNC) in 1926, and in December the same year was elected from the Maradana Ward to the Colombo Municipal Council. He contested for the newly formed House of Representatives in the 1947 election from the UNP from Attanagalla, winning with a good majority.

 In July 1951, Bandaranaike resigned from his government posts and crossed the floor to the opposition with several of his close associates from the Sinhala Maha Sabha. Thereafter he dissolved the Sinhala Maha Sabha and formed a new party, Bandaranaike continued his policies stated in 1952, on language, Buddhism, and Ayurvedic medicine. As such he stated that the basis of the party would be the (Pancha Maha Balavegaya).

The 1956 elections was a landslide victory for the MEP as it gained a two-thirds majority in parliament and Bandaranaike was invited by the Governor General to form a government as the fourth prime minister of Ceylon in April 1956. As prime minister, he took a neutralist stance in foreign policy, but established diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China and the Soviet Union. He removed the British air bases at RAF Negombo and RAF China Bay and the naval base at Trincomalee.


Bandaranayake was the greatest prime minister in srilanka. Bandaranayake passed away on 26th September 1959.
