The licence can be found here. They are saved in WAV format so can be transported to another audio app to be edited.

This app is well organised into categories that are searchable using a tool bar.  However, not all the snippets of sound are attributed so details about the recording such as when they were recorded are not available.

This could be used in the classroom to add effects to students' digital productions. It has a search bar that enables you to look for artists, song names and genres. It also has charts for the user to look through the top songs of the week/month/all time. This allows the user to look for music that relates to their needs. Users of this site are meant to be 13 years or older, however they do acknowledge that you can share it with those under age at your own discretion. This site can be used for students to share their musical work or look for music to use in assignments.

This is a basic editing software that runs in the browser, meaning that students do not need to download anything and all students can have access to the program fairly easily. The negatives of this software are that it has very limited editing capability and it does not allow for clips that are very long. The layout is straightforward compared to something like Audacity and it has the option to cut, paste, overlap, and apply effects to sections of your audio. You can also preview these effects and switch them on the fly for easy compariso. It doesn't seem very intuitive. I have minimal experience with audio editing and Im having difficulty working out how to combine multiple audio files. There also doesn't seem to be a tutorial or help section.
* Would you use it in the classroom? How? 
At this stage, I would not. The app is quite limited in terms of functionality for more capable music creators. 

In a classroom setting I would encourage students to use the software to create a backing track to a short film or presentation, this is beneficial as it allows students to be entirely in control of the entire creative process.

Basic audio tool that allows user to drag and drop sound files and edit them. Easy to attach one sound and put a second sound over it or more depending what you want. Easy access basically stops there. It is an easy download from the website. No instructions other than information for the plugins and advanced editing. 
I would not use it in the classroom as I am sure it would be better for an audience that understand how to use extensions for this program better. There is better programs for students that are more accessible and easier to understand.

Children these days use technology to create their assignments and love having fun whilst learning. 
This app not only allows you to voice over but it allows you to create clips with the addition of video recordings, pictures and music. 
It is a perfect tool to use in the classroom to make learning exciting and enjoyable!

This software is great for what its purpose is, it can do almost everything you would want to do with audio. You can record in the software, cut and edit the audio or play around with other technical aspects of the audio such as volume, pitch, speed and many others.  As like all other Adobe software apps its a really great mid tier app to use above your free versions but bellow your professional standards used in big budget projects. 

The biggest downfall lies in Adobe Audition's interface as it is a mid tier program it is better suited for people more accustomed to other softwares.

 You could use this in the classroom for may reasons, you can use it to make resources for the classroom or to help put together projects your students have made to do with sound, as this is just a sound editing software it has endless possibilities when working with sound for classroom use.

Its fairly basic, with the capability to upload audio files or choose one using a URL. 
Its fairly simple to use, with a few very limited options to edit the audio files such as fade in and out etc. It is also capable of cut and deleting required sections of music. A major issue that I found was when I uploaded audio files, the audio file would not work properly all the time. It allows the user to choose their instrument or to simply choose the microphone where they can record their voices or to upload audio files to edit.
A con of Garageband is not being able to easily changing tempos within a song (although you can do this through a longer manual process through snipping and dragging).
