Comme tous les matins, l’éléphant se rend au bord de la marre pour regarder son reflet.

Ce matin là, un crocodile affamé voyant l’éléphant s’approcher saisit le bout de la trompe. 
 Le serpent assistant à la scène et voyant l’éléphant en grandes difficultés entoura l’éléphant et commença à tirer de toutes ses forces dans l’autre sens.
 Personne ne voulait lâcher et la trompe de l’éléphant commença à s’allonger
 Au bout de quelques minutes, le crocodile en voyant l’énorme trompe de l’éléphant renonça et s’enfuit. L’éléphant tomba en arrière écrasant le serpent.

Depuis ce jour, les éléphants ont une longue trompe.

Un jour avec son ami le serpent ils étaient tranquillement en train d'admirer le paysage.
  Un crocodile sortit alors de l'eau et lui tira le nez. Le crocodile le tira tellement fort que l'éléphant faillit tomber dans l'eau. Heureusement, son ami le serpent était là pour le retenir. Pendant ce temps, la trompe de l'éléphant grandissait, grandissait jusqu'à ce que le crocodile abandonne.

Il y a très longtemps quand le monde était encore jeune, l’éléphant avait une petite trompe. Un jour un éléphant est allé à la rivière avec son copain le serpent, pour aller boire. Ils étaient en train de boire tranquillement et hop un crocodile attrape la trompe de l’éléphant.
