I think this question is relevant to students now because this idea of dealing with the good and bad within us is something that students see in many of their favorite shows and within their own life. Thinking about the play in this perspective of conflicting ideals makes it relevant to the students.

I believe that Hamlet is both relevant and important to students because it deals with many issues that the students can relate to. Hamlet deals with loss, morality, deception, and family struggles. All of these things are issues that students deal with in their lives. Also Shakespeare is important to teach to students because of how Shakespeare uses language in many unique ways.
