The Sun is a star made of hot plasma and it is our main and most important source of energy for life on Earth. As a star the Sun is just a big ball of gas made up of 92.1% hydrogen and 7.8% percent helium which is held up by its own gravity. It is also the closest Star to Earth. It is located at the centre of the universe. At the core of the Sun it can reach up to 15 million °C ( 27 million °F) The surface temperature of the Sun is 2 million °C ( 3.5 million °F) It is very bright and orangey-red in colour.

The Asteroid Belt is located in between Mars and Jupiter. It made up of irregular shaped rocks. These rocks are much smaller than planets and these are called asteroids or minor planets. The Asteroid Belt is just a very large group of these asteroids making a huge circle/oval. It also serves as a purpose of being the borderline between the terrestrial and gaseous planets.

Saturn is the 6th planet away from the Sun. It is 1.4961 billion kilometres away from the Sun. It is 116,460 kilometres in diametre. Its takes 29 years for Saturn to orbit the Sun. A day on Saturn lasts 10 hours and 42 minutes. At the top layer of the atmosphere, the temperature will range from -173°C to -113°C. About 332 kilometres lower, the temperature is high as 57°C. It is also a gaseous planet. It is made up of 94% hydrogen, 6% helium and small amounts of methane and ammonia. Saturn is one of the planets in our Solar System that has rings. These rings are made up of rocks and ice covered in dust. The reason Saturn has rings was because the plants that were going past Saturn were torn apart by Saturn's powerful gravity. Saturn has 53 confirmed moons and 62 in total.
