Also why do people consider the death penalty as a punishment? How is killing someone not an escape from justice if they know the punishment of their crimes? (Most shootings)

Are justice and revenge more similar or are they more different?

When some one is going to get on a plane and than the airline has to switch their flight to a different terminal and to another plane that is about to leave and they don't have enough time to get to the other plane. What would be the just way to handle this.
