I would like to think that these people felt bad for what they were being forced to do to people. There is no way that in any case that would be okay and I don't understand how they could do something like that.</div>]]></description>

Since my father's death, nothing mattered to me anymore."&nbsp;<br>This quote shows the theme of not losing your hope and faith when going through these things like adversity and&nbsp;conflict. Once Elie's dad died, he had lost most of his hope and faith. He had lost the only thing that mattered to him and allowed him to push through. Who knows how many more days he would have lasted without his father without being rescued. </div>]]></description>
