         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>In November 1806, Napoleon created a blockade to close off Great Britain from the rest of Europe</li><li>Napoleon destroy Great Britains economy by blocking off their trade routes to the other European countries, and make continental Europe stronger</li><li>This didn't work, as Britain sent smugglers to bring cargo to and from other European nations</li><li>As well as this, Great Britain created their own blockade, and since Britain had a stronger Navy, it worked much better than France's</li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>The Invasion of Russia</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>In 1812, Alexander I had been Napoleon's ally, but their alliance had been broken, and Napoleon decided to invade Russia</li><li>In June of 1812, over 420,000 of Napoleon's soldier advanced to Russia, but Russia kept pulling their troops back, knowing they would be overpowered</li><li>Russia used a scorched-earth policy against Napoleon's army, which meant Russia burnt all their grains and killed all their livestock so the French army didn't have anything to eat</li><li>On September 7, 1812, the Russian and French army finally fought each other, with Russia retreating, so Napoleon moved on to Moscow</li><li>Alexander I totally destroyed Moscow once Napoleon arrived, he'd rather eliminate his "holy city" by himself then have Napoleon do it</li><li>Once Napoleon retreated from Moscow about a month later, the Russian army devastated Napoleon's soldiers in the cold, leaving only 10,000 soldier to battle</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Britain, Russia, Prussia, and Sweden all were against Napoleon, and even Austria had declared war on France, even though he was married to Marie-Louise</li><li>After his defeat in Russia, Napoleon had rebuilt an army, be the majority of the soldiers didn't know how to fight</li><li>In January of 1814, the armies against Napoleon had started advancing towards France, and in March the leaders of Russia and Prussia had both sent their armies to the capitol of France</li><li>Napoleon wanted to continue the fight, but his generals went against him and refused, which forced Napoleon to surrender and give up his throne</li><li>Napoleon was then forced into exile on a small island off the Italian coast called Elba</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Louis XVIII had now taken the throne from Napoleon, put he was extremely unpopular amongst the people of France</li><li>This made Napoleon escape from Elba, return to France, and become the Emperor of France again</li><li>The countries against Napoleon were furious, and the British army prepared for a fight near Waterloo, a town in Belgium</li><li>Napoleon's soldiers attacked at Waterloo on June 18, 1815, but Great Britain wouldn't back down</li><li>Then, Prussia started attacking France at Waterloo as well, and after two days, Napoleon's soldiers were too exhausted to fight</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
