         <description><![CDATA[<p>When teaching ELLs there are different tools that can be beneficial for our students, us as educators have to build relationships with our students in order to be able to best help each student. When scaffolding our lessons we are engaging the students and building on from prior knowledge. This resource gives a break down of verbal scaffolds and procedural scaffolds. Over certain time certain skills should be fluent and have a grasp on English Language. This resource is more of a break down with the time periods and how it coincides with certain topics. It has a scale to assess your students on, and from here you take the score to see where a student falls with English language proficiency levels.
