A guest speaker form Massachusetts Medical School and he was a really good speaker. Things I picked up from him when I realized he was a good speaker was that he engaged the audience. He interacted with the people he was talking to. He also had a lot of self confidence, and with that he showed he knew exactly what he was talking about.
2. Another guest speaker was one of my interviewers who worked for One Summer Chicago. She was veery beneficial to me in a way not many speakers were able to. In this case she was able to work with me as an individual and give me pointers on how I was able to improve myself in a real interview. If you believe you have a resume prepared, or are using an old one, I strongly advise looking over it for any typos. An elevator pitch would actually benefit you more than you could really imagine it would. An elevator pitch would help with a quick, and professional introduction on what kind of person you are in the work world. Mock interviews would also be very beneficial because it's a chance for you to be able to figure work with and observe different kinds of interview styles. Etiquette helps you be prepared for any professional like situations.
