The second scene with Luca I used the same method as i did with the scenes with Thomas Shelby and they had the same outcome.

There was one shot where there is blue in the background of one of Luca shots. I worked with the DOP again to try and match the shot as best as possible. I put a blue cover over the light and it looked as if the actor was in a blue spotlight. I then tried putting a soft box over at the light and pointed it more towards the wall and away from the actor but it still didn't look like the scene. Me and the DOP then asked the director for help, he suggested an idea that we should bring the lights further away to make it less harsh, however due to the limitations of the room we were in I physically couldn't bring the lights any further back. I tried to explain this to the Director and when he disagreed with me he took the lights and stated positioning them himself. Everyone on the crew tried to tell him that it wasn't possible and that it was also my job but he didn't listen. When he was finished he said no one should touch the lights. A few of us on the crew tried to explain to him that the lighting that he had set up didn't look like the scene we were trying to recreate, he stated that this is the way he envisioned and how he wanted it to look like. This is why the lighting in that scene does not match the clip we were to re-create.

I then worked with Eilis with lighting by communicating how it looked on camera and would tell her what to change.

During the shoot I had the scene next to me so I Constantly had a reference to look back to, as well as the shot list.

Final studio day

• Printed out the updated scripts at the library

• Helped set up the green room

• took note of how long each interview went over time so that the edit would be easier

I tried to do my edit the following Monday however there was some more issues with the timeline which prevented me from completing my job.

The next week we were able to fix the mistakes and I was able to add the rolling titles and closing credits. I added 10 seconds filler to the sequence then changed the time code so that it would start at 1:00:00:00. I exported it using the right criteria.
