The problem is that she doesn't want that so to change her fate .So she after a fight with her mom that leave them both angry and regretful. She goes to a witch in the wood, and she get a potion that is supposed to change her Mom's mind to about her marriage, but the twist is that the potion turns her into a bear, and to get her back she has to "mend the bond torn by pride", before it to late and her mom stays a bear. So she repairs the tapestry thinking that it will fix here mother.
