Democracy took over japan. Since their was no visible leader Japan's people had more freedom. They had freedom to make changes. Although they had freedom they had economic failure. Terrorist acts began t unfold. They later launched war on China.

Italy

They fought in allied side, and disliked the treaty of versailles. They went into battle, but many casualties occured. Their economy also failed.

Germany

Germany had been through lots of defeat. They had to pay a lot of reparation. Hitler rose to power and became leader of the Nazis. Began the strict rules of intermarraige.

Anyone who disagreed got violently punished. Became chancellor and destroyed other minorities groups. Reichstag fire happened and they had to turn to Hitler. He built up his army and took control of territories.

Facism

Hitler and Mussolini both had high power. He made his people call him leader. They both wanted to take over land which they bonded over.

Spanish civil war

Spain fought against the republican government. Both sides struggled for control. After the Republicans fled, the Nationalists won the battle.

Facists uniting

Hitler and Mussolini were brought together by wanting to take over. They supported the facism of the Spanish. Germany and Italy signed a pact and became the Axis Powers.

Rhineland

Rhineland was western Germany, and who owned it caused many arguments. The treaty of Versailles made it so no one could use it for military. Despite the rule Hitler invaded it anyway.

Appeasment

UK and France had an appeasment and avoided conflict with eachother. Their economy was failing and didn't know Hitler and Musolini would do anything for more power. Although they could, they weren't 'popular' enough to fight or support the facists.

Sudetenland and Poland

Hitler never had enough and also wanted Sudetenland which was part of Czechslovakia. They offered some to him but he wanted more so avoiding conflict, they gave him what he wanted. Hitler later invaded Poland.
