They are not asking for the separation they are telling. <br>2) I still need to understand how he he proves that the counterarguments are not viable. <br>3) Dealing with the counterarguments is more effective because because it shows that Jefferson understands why the British is not wanting them to separate, it makes him more persuasive because it makes it seem like Jefferson is more understanding. Also it makes it more effective because if he shuts down any arguments that people might have, no one will have anything to argue with him.</div>]]></description>

I still need to understand  the basic truths. He gave reasons for both, and used them to show why what was written in the declaration was the best option, or the right way to go about the topic. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) In the final Paragraph of the Declaration of Independence it is Jefferson's opportunity to recap what has been said and to stress the importance of the colonists becoming independent from England.<br>2) I understand a good amount of the Declaration of Independence but the language being used confuses me sometimes and words/phrases need to be cleared up in certain instances.<br>3) Counterarguments were effective in this piece because Jefferson addressed both sides of the argument. First, he explained why they should become independent, and then he stated why the British want to continue their rule over the colonists. Counterarguments are a very effective way to explain both sides of an argument and persuade people to believe your side of that argument.</div>]]></description>
