         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><br>Red Light, Green Light<br></strong><br></div><div>This strategy allows the teacher to quickly evaluate the students understanding . The teacher can distribute a red, yellow, and green objects to every student. This can be placed in the corner of their desk to visually show their understanding.<br>Green- I know what I am doing <br>Yellow- I need just a little of help<br>Red- I have no understanding- teacher assistance.<br>This strategy is beneficial to use in multiple subjects, especially Math. The teacher can easily identify the student's needs and place them in the appropriate small group.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Jigsaw Groups</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> The teacher assigns groups to work on a different section of the text and become "experts" on that content. The teacher then divides the group, so each group has member/expert that read a different section.. Each expert will share their work with the rest of the group, This allows the teacher to the ability to visit the groups and provide support when necessary.<br>Teachers can divide the text from the chapters in order to reduce the work load on their students, but still giving them the information from the other experts of the other chapters.</div>]]></description>

This allows the teacher to check for understanding, and the students ability to connect and discuss relevant information.<br>A teacher in Social Studies can ask students to pick a historical figure, and write  to another historical figure discussing and describing a historical event. This can also be used in Science to describe a land-form they "visited. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This allows the students to use 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 fingers to represent their understanding .If a student holds 1 finger it means "I need a lot of help" and a 5 meaning "I really get this.". If the student holds up 3 fingers it means " I understand some, but still need help".          <description><![CDATA[<div>The teacher has multiple choice questions with have four answers. The teacher gathers the students in the middle of the classroom. The teacher reads each question and the answer choices aloud. Students then move to one of the four corners that represents what they believe is the correct answer. The teacher can see the students level of understanding based on which corner they pick.</div>]]></description>

The students will see the question displayed on on the projector screen, along with the answer choices. The students will then select the correct response from their device.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Quizlet allows the teacher to create a list of terms for the students to study. Quizlet will then generate a quiz from the list of terms for the students. After completion of the quiz the students can send it to the teacher. If they are in the classroom, the teacher can have the students come and show the results to them. The teacher can check for understanding, and then review/re-teach the missed terms. This assessment can be used in all subject areas.</div>]]></description>
