         <description><![CDATA[<div>Micro plastics are tiny bits of plastic less than 5mm. They enter the ecosystem as they are being disposed into the ocean. These plastics are eaten by micro organisms which are eaten by fish which are eaten by humans, entering our bodies.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>a large share of microplastics are microfibers, which are tiny strands of plastic that comes from our laundry. This is because we wash clothes that are made of tiny strands of plastic. Thus, when these clothes are washed , the fabrics are being pulled loose and tiny microfibres fall out.&nbsp;<br>As washing machines typically do not have a filter, everything that falls off our clothes are being washed down the drain. The water may be processed into a treatment plant but the filters are often too large to stop them from passing through and flowing to a discharge point at a nearby marine habitat thus reaching the ocean&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>when washing, the process causes clothes to shed microfibers which are small pieces of plastic that are flushed down the drain as washing machines do not have a filter and they are usually too small for the filters when being processed through sewage treatment hence they are able to be discharged into the ecosystem.</div>]]></description>
