She enjoys crawling through hoops, jumping over small hurdles, and walking carefully around objects. Reneilwe is beginning to understand how her body moves in relation to the space around her and shows growing balance and coordination. With continued practice through movement games and outdoor play, she will continue to strengthen her bilateral movements, spatial awareness, and overall physical confidence.

Reneilwe is developing her fine motor skills at her own pace and enjoys exploring activities that involve using her hands and fingers. She is beginning to show interest in holding crayons and pencils, and while she currently prefers to scribble on her worksheets, she enjoys being encouraged to try new tasks. Her interest is growing and we will keep encouraging our little superstar. Tracing and colouring activities are still challenging for her, and she benefits from gentle support and plenty of motivation. With continued exposure to fun, hands-on activities such as threading, playdough, building blocks, and simple art experiences, Reneilwe will continue to strengthen her hand–eye coordination, grip control, and confidence in using fine motor tools.

Reneilwe is a gentle and observant little girl who is gradually developing her social and emotional confidence. Although she is not yet talking much, she is beginning to use a few words to identify familiar animals, shapes, numbers, and letters, which is lovely progress. She communicates her needs and feelings through gestures, facial expressions, and warm interactions with adults and peers. Reneilwe enjoys being part of group activities and responds positively to encouragement and praise. With continued support and speech therapy, her confidence in expressing herself is steadily growing, and she is becoming more comfortable engaging with those around her. I am so proud of her progress this year.

Reneilwe is developing a growing interest in early literacy activities and enjoys participating in group learning sessions. Although her speech is not always clear or easily understood, she makes a lovely effort to repeat the days of the week and months of the year, and to join in with songs and rhymes during morning ring. Reneilwe has shown lovely progress in her numeracy development this year. She is able to count confidently from 0 to 20 and enjoys participating in counting activities during group time. She can also identify and point to numbers from 0 to 20 when asked, showing a growing understanding of number recognition. Reneilwe enjoys number songs, games, and activities that involve counting objects, and with continued practice, she will further strengthen her understanding of early mathematical concepts such as quantity, order, and comparison. She can identify the basic shapes on request, as well as additional shapes such as the cross, arrow, and hexagon. Good job, Reneilwe!
