Species are creatures that have been identified, or have yet to be identified. New ones are being found every day, by scientists, then they have to wonder how they’ll identify these species. When you do that, there’s lots to consider. To identify what a species is, look at their reproductive system, that will help determine what class they are in. Meaning, their animal kingdom. They could be a mammal, amphibian, or something else, based on their looks, and way they reproduce.

Some species I learned about was a platypus. At first, they didn’t know what they were, with their long beak, and tail. They started digging deeper and fount out that they are a mammal, who reproduces in a funny way, also produces milk through their own fur.
