         <description><![CDATA[<div>This mural "echoes the beauty, diversity, and energy of Boston", as stated by Now + There project that curated and produced Silvia Lopez Chavez's piece. It is meant to resemble the energy around the busy Boston esplanade, how the day-to-day activities shape the environment, and the interactions that built with the land, water, and sky. <br><br><strong>About the artist: </strong>Born in the<strong> </strong>Dominican Republic, her work is informed by her own personal narratives and responds to her identities as an immigrant, a woman of color, an educator, a visual artist and a designer.          <description><![CDATA[<div>"With this mural, Don Rimx seeks to illuminate the continued erasure of Indigenous people." <sub>Quoted from Boston Mural Map website. </sub><br><br><strong>About the artist</strong>: Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. David Sepulveda grew up as part of a marginalized community were drugs and gun violence were very high. He defied the stereotypes and obtained an education in art later to become an urban artists who specializes in murals. He has participated in various urban beautification projects around the globe where he contributed to the community culture. His work involves a lot of color treatment and poetic imagery. He is also a graffitist and new school tattoo artist.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This pillar is one half of a set of two pillars by this artist that make part of the Underground at Ink Block park. Both pillars overflow with colors and letters with the words "Respect Women" and "Visualize World Peace". These statements act as instructions for anyone who passes through and are repeated all around the pillar art. <br><br><strong>About the artist</strong>: Native New Yorker of Dominican descent. Her work is influenced by abstract expressionism and pop art fused with graffiti and street art. She adds a lot of imagery and designs that include personal messages from her to the viewers.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Part of the underground mural project at Ink Block. This mural is painted along a support beam that is visible not only from this park that is at 90 Traveler St but also from the highway and beyond which gives a sense of a neighborhood that stretches to the horizon. This work's title was inspired by Solange's 2016 song. <br><br><strong>About the artist:</strong> He is an international street artists working with the intersection of graffiti and vinyl toys. hi work blends elements of street and pop culture with Mexican and indigenous aesthetics. The artist calls this look "Neo Indigenous." He I known for his continuous activism through art .          <description><![CDATA[<div>This massive project to beautify this are in South Boston and create a welcoming fun community space was led by MassDOT in cooperation with the community, City of Boston, Boston Planning &amp; Development Agency and the Federal Highway Administration. The project called on a variety of artists from very different backgrounds and styles to paint murals and build sculptures to form part of the underground park.
