The film shows how the Mayan civilization enslaved the villagers, forcing them to leave their villages with a long journey to the civilized Mayan city, to work under abuse in the construction of great buildings, monuments to the king and great pyramids, but everything will change when Many situations begin to happen, caused by a mysterious and unexpected villager who will show how the beginning of the end was for such a civilization.

In my opinion, this film is impeccable, because it shows in a very detailed and cold way, the form in which the humble people of that time were mistreated by high society and the rulers of developed cities, very similar to what happens today. 

My evaluation of this movie is simple : This is a story that everyone should see and will not be disappointed, at least it will serve as general culture.

This film is about the story of Clarise Starling, an FBI student who is appointed by her instructor, Jack Crawford, to catch a serial killer nicknamed Buffalo Bill. He chooses his young female victims, kidnaps them and later takes away their skin. Clarise visits Dr. Hannibal Lecter a brilliant psychiatrist, serial killer and cannibal, who is confined in a psychiatric center for his multiple crimes. The objective of her visit will be to get as much information as possible from Dr. Lecter to create the pattern of behavior of the most wanted serial killer of the moment. To be considered a horror thriller, I think the movie is quite captivating since it is an original story, well argued with many interesting dialogues and with many details to analyze throughout the film. This makes you stay engrossed from beginning to end.

This is a memorable movie that is definitely a must-see, because it mixes suspense, psychological terror, shocking scenes, unexpected twists and an incredible performance by the protagonists, with Anthony Hopkins’ being considered a prodigious performance.

The film, based in a real story, is narrated as an interview that the young and by then almost unknown writer Herman Melville (played by Ben Whishaw) makes, in 1850, the last survivor of the sinking of the whaleship Essex, Tom Nickerson (Brendan Gleeson). The Essex traveled in 1820 from Nantucket to the southern Pacific Ocean in search of whale oil. The ship was faced by a more brutal and aggressive animal than usual. Finally the ship was sunk by the big whale. Nickerson, who at the time the trip was made, was a novice, in the story became an alcoholic tortured by what he had to live there. Melville, the writer, convinced him (through money) to tell him all the secrets of the tragic trip. In  addition to the dangers inherent to facing the huge whales to hunt them to extract their oil, the travelers of this ship must live with the conflictive relationship between its captain and the leader of the crew.
My opinion: I enjoyed the film very much, its plot and its surroundings managed to catch me. I like very much movies based on real stories and any movie that takes place in the sea.
My evaluation: In my opinion this is a good film, exciting and fun.  Although it may seem a bit loaded with drama, its high level of adventure makes it a fun film suitable for all audiences.
What’s its moral?

It’s ok to be ambitious but risks must be measured to know how far it is possible to go.
