Izan- 'We have been learning about Christians and Muslims. My community is my football team'

Amina - Christians go to Church. Muslims go to Mosque. Christians believe that God is joyful'.

Amar-(The Prodigal son) He was sad, he had no money. He had to say sorry

Amber- Easter, when Jesus died on the cross. We have also visited Father Steven's Church. We saw a candle, Bibles, stained glass windows and Jesus on the cross.

Mahd- Father Steven showed us the different colours that he wears, sometimes it's purple. I liked learning about baptism when the baby has a cross put onto it's head. Amber responded- 'Yes, that's Holy water.' Mahd- 'When a baby is born, the daddy whispers into it's ear'. (referring to the Islamic practise)

Aadam- 'We learn about a variety of religions, and it's good to learn new facts about other religions.' We then discussed diversity and how knowing more about other religions breaks down any negative barriers.

Aadam talked about the story of Moses and Judaism.

Mir Afshar- 'A Jewish Holy place is a synagogue. They also celebrate Shabbat each week, but they're not allowed to use technology. We review our learning that helps us to remember more'

Alina- 'Jesus was crucified on the cross'. 'My favourite part of the Easter story is Palm Sunday when they were all shouting Hosanna at Jesus'

Rayhaan- 'He was the Son of God'.

Hamza- 'And then when he died, the Earth shook'.

Hamza- 'I've really enjoyed learning about Hinduism and the different deities, they have so many'. 'I also like looking at the timeline of the Bible'.

Alina- 'Aum was the first sound ever heard'

Waleed- 'Looking at the Bible and understanding the importance of messages found within the Gospels. The Eid assembly was important because my mum led it and it showed the importance of Eid.

Mehr-Ali- 'To me, understanding what 'eternal' meant was interesting because its so hard to imagine that God has been and will always be here. It's hard for my brain to process'.

'It's important to me to learn more about Islam and learn from the Qu'ran because one of my life dreams would be to visit Meccah and perform Hajj.'

Abeeha- 'Because even in Islam Jesus is considered a prophet.'

Javeria- 'And we understand that he shows kindness and loyalty, and that's something we should all be doing.'

What do you enjoy about RE?

Mahjabeen- 'I enjoyed the comparison between the Gospels, because there's different opinions and views'.

Javeria- 'When we get to be creative and express it through art work. We created clay models of the nativity story.

Abeeha- 'We created crosses that represented our spirituality'.

Javeria- 'It's also nice when we get to visit places, like the Jewish Synagogue'.
