         <title>Medicating Addicts</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Doctor's prescribe meds that release dopamine, in order to mimic the drug high. It help with withdrawls as well. They have side effects, that's the only down fall. They are working on a vaccine that kills the cocaine before it hits the brain, so people don't get addicted. Naltrexone is a pill given to heroin users which blocks the heroin receptors, so they can't get high. The pill is non-addictive but it can be abused, so they haven't found a good treatment.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>researchers have discovered that the majority of those who use drugs are ones that come from lower income families. However, they believe that this problem cannot be fixed unless it is addressed. they came up with an idea to use the drug funding money to help aid education and employment funding for the lower income families, with the hope that this will make a difference. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since drug use has become an ongoing problem, people have created places for addicts to get back on track. there is a variety of treatment programs such as alcoholics, narcotics, marijuana, and chemically dependent anonymouses. these typically require the patient to live there for 10-28 days. in some, they have the patients work half the day to pay for their care. in many of the houses where they recover, a lot of the patients encourage each other and prompt each other to stay sober. this is a great idea for those who are struggling with fighting their addiction. </div>]]></description>
