This video breaks down exactly how VoIP works. It has a business end, but it makes the concepts easy to understand. It shows the exact pathways calls take when making a VoIP call. It also brings up the idea of SIP Trunking with clusters of phone pairings. These SIP Trunking systems build upon VoIP and contain web interfaces, remote numbers, have a low cost, and can put calls over multiple networks. Give the video a look!

This website lists current VoIP providers if you've decided you're in the market for a switch after reading this weeks articles on VoIP systems. In addition to giving a brief overview, it also brings up a list of companies that provide VoIP services based on what sector your organization is, such as Business, Residential, Web Conferencing, and more. Clicking into one of these areas brings up the top providers along with star rankings, company information, plan overviews, and more. We had so many articles this week about what VoIP is, I thought a resource that compares the current providers would be an excellent addition to our knowledge bank.
