         <description><![CDATA[<p>Fântânele, the place where the wind becomes energy</p><p>Fantanele-Cogealac Wind Park is located on a unique plot of land in one of the two areas with the highest wind potential in Europe, in the Romanian region of Dobrogea, 17 km from the Black Sea. Each of the wind turbines is 100 meters high and has a rotor diameter of 99 meters.</p><p>The Fântânele-Cogealac Wind Farm is the largest onshore wind farm in Europe with a capacity of 600MW, the installed power being almost triple that of the largest operational wind farm existing in Europe, at the time of installation.</p><p>The Cogealac Wind Farm, with a power of 226.5 MW, is connected by a 110kV underground cable network to the main 110/400kV transformer station in Tariverde. This wind farm has 101 turbines installed, connected by a 33 kV underground network to 3 110/33 kV transformer stations.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Macedonia has many years of experience in the use of geothermal energy. However, the last 20 years for Macedonia have been a period of stagnation in geothermal development. There were no investments either in research or in the development of new projects. As a result, the use of geothermal energy has significantly decreased in the last few years. The territory of the Republic of Macedonia belongs to the Alpine-Himalayan zone, with subzones without any contemporary volcanic activity. So far, 18 geothermal fields are known, with more than 50 geothermal springs and boreholes.</p><p>The territory of the Republic of Macedonia belongs to the Alpine-Himalayan zone, with subzones without any contemporary volcanic activity. So far, 18 geothermal fields are known, with more than 50 geothermal springs and boreholes. The total outflow is somewhere around 1000 l/sec, with temperatures of 20-78 ºС. Hot waters are mainly of hydrocarbonate nature, given their dominant anionic and mixed structure with equal presence of sodium, calcium and magnesium. Dissolved minerals are in the range of 0.5 to 3.7 g/l.</p><p>The use of this potential for energy needs is at the local level. Given the relatively low temperature, it is used exclusively to meet heating needs.</p><p>In contrast to some baths in the Republic of Macedonia, such as Katlanovska, Strumica and others that are known to have been used by the Romans, the Negor thermal mineral waters have only been used as a bath in recent times. They are located in our region and we visit them often.</p><p><br/></p><p>The first data on this thermo-mineral water was provided by the famous Yugoslav geographer Jovan Cviić who visited this region in 1889.</p><p>Unlike most baths in Macedonia that originate from the Roman period, this bath is considered to have been first exploited by Shukri Pasha, who first built two swimming pools here.</p><p><br/></p><p>There are two springs here, "Hot Bath", with a temperature of 40°C and "Cold Bath" with a water temperature of 38°C. This spa, in addition to its extremely favorable tourist-geographical position in relation to the main communication routes, also has 36 hectares of dense and beautiful ash forest located in its surroundings.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

Tides change at predictable times depending on the cycle of the moon. In some parts of the world, the speed and elevation difference of tides is greater due to local geography and the curvature of the Earth. By installing devices that use some of the tidal energy in these narrow channels, we can generate electricity that can power communities and contribute to the energy needs of towns and cities. With climate change becoming a greater concern, it is our job to find alternative ways to provide energy. More usable and sustainable ways than fossil fuels. Tidal energy can play a big role in the solution as it is renewable, predictable and extremely flexible when combined with storage.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>North Macedonia has an average of 280 sunny days, that is, about 1,500 sunny hours per year, which is why the country is in a position to really benefit from well-planned and well-placed solar technology. Despite this, it is interesting that in 2018 only 0.4% of the country's energy needs came from solar energy and the country's energy transition plans are still mostly focused on hydropower. In his so-called "green scenario", the energy strategy for North Macedonia plans to increase the energy capacity from PV sources to 1,400MW. </p><p>Macedonia got the largest solar power plant in the region in Novaci.</p>]]></description>
