In the story cow pats the children’s had to wake up early and milking, compares to us the children at that time work way harder than us and they don’t complain and I always complain about everything going to school and stuff like that that’s shows the resilience.
Also it was really cold in the morning when they wake up and go do farm works and their family at that time can not afford them shoes or boots so they had to deal with bare feet in cold grass instead of deal with it they find the way of putting their feet into cowpats to warm it up.
How adults are copping
Not only the children the adults are copping really hard at that time is well the companies and factories all shuts down they lose their job and stuff like that ones when the child went to the town they saw how the old mans was putting his hand into the washing water to warm his hand up he realises it’s not only them the whole country is facing the same problem

tom an elizbath's family is copping really hard at the time of depression, their family owns a farm but the couldn't make good money because no one have s money at that time so they have no one to sale it too so they started going back instead of making money rhey started to losing money of keep the animals and plants alive, they have no money.
