The storyline seemed more than interesting. I could tell just by reading the first page, it was going to be a book that locked my eyes in. The story started with Matt, the main character, In a hospital along with all the other injured soldiers. He had no memory of why he was in there. I enjoyed the beginning because the reader was finding out just as much as he was through what the nurses and his squad was telling him. As Matt recovered, he was able to be back with his squad. He had memory of a boy who he had thought he had killed, but as the book goes on, you learn it wasn’t Matt who had pulled the trigger, but it was someone he didn’t expect. 

                 I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys suspense. Not only is it informational on war, PTSD, and trauma, but it also shows the view of someone in a situation where everything is scattered and what used to be a normal life is now far from it. This book was a good read from the first to the last page. Props to the author’s creative writing as well.
