Il a été créé pendant le régime de vichy, en 1942, par les allemands pendant  l'occupation française. 
En 1940, les Allemands ont vaincu la France, qui elle, a capitulée. C'est le maréchal Pétain qui prit la décision de capituler contre l'Allemagne. Donnez votre travail, pour sauver l'Europe du bolchevisme"), a 2 valeurs différentes ; une valeur informative et une valeur impérative. Elle a sûrement été faite par un parti opposé au communisme car il y a écrit « pour sauver l'Europe du bolchevisme ». On apprend dans le texte que les soldats se sacrifient, ils se font tuer pour la liberté des civils (les femmes, les enfants et les personnes âgées), donc en échange ils doivent aller travailler à la place des soldats, des hommes partis à la guerre. Elle a été faite durant le régime de Vichy, elle incite les jeunes personnes et les femmes à aller travailler dans des usines en Allemagne, ce que l'on appelait le STO (service du travail obligatoire).
 La couleur utilisée sur cette affiche est le rouge qui représente le sang et donc la violence de la guerre.
 Le personnage central représente un soldat français, qui a le regard tourné « vers le futur ».
 Nous pouvons voir des centaines d'ouvriers qui partent travailler dans des usines Allemande pour remplacer les hommes partis a la guerre (STO).
