My father is an elementary educator in Casili Elementary School, Casili, Consolacion, Cebu. My mother on the other hand, works at a certain company in MEPZA, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. Some people mock the workers of MEPZA for the reason which I have never acknowledged. However, I will always honor my mother's work because their company has fed us over the last 25 years.

I have been exposed to different problems which I thought at first, I would never be able to conquer but luckily I did!

At the age of 18 I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism or commonly known as "toxic goiter". It was so tough for me since it took away my confidence and self-esteem. I had to take two different medications to normalize certain hormone levels and stabilize my heart palpitation. I have been frustrated and self-conscious over the last 2 years due to the side effects brought by my health issue. My eyes protruded and my face has swollen too much. I also gained too much weight. My hair kept on losing and has lost its shine so I had to cut my long straight and pretty hair short. It simply took away my radiantly beautiful self.

However, I am elated to tell everybody that I am getting well and better day by day. I was crowned as the Miss Intramurals 2017. I competed at Ms. DepEd Consolacion 2017 after that and was held as 2nd Runner-Up. It took me a long while to realize that the only circle of people who could give you the best serenity and comfort is your family. It had to cost my parents their sweat and tears to make me stay at home. 

Not until I lost half of my friends for some tiny reasons. I reached to the point of detaching and isolating myself. That was when I became a homebody with a chosen circle of friends left.
