There would also be a need for staff to set up and tear down/clean up after events. In addition, I think when creating an event space it's important to look at popular happenings in regards to geographics so you can consider popular local events that could be hosted in the space and boost popularity in your space. I believe Sales and Marketing would work closely with HR to determine which events may pose H&amp;S risks and how to remedy those so when Sales and marketing are selling or pitching a space they can go over all safety measures and discuss things like CPR trained personnel, etc.</p>]]></description>

With events, things are more likely to get broken or damaged, especially when hosting guests who are likely to indulge in alcoholic beverages. With this, I think it's important that the hotel collects a security deposit, especially if they are renting some of the equipment, linens, etc. I can imagine LP and security, much like sales and marketing, working closely with HR to go over safety protocol and potential risks and how to manage situations that may arise.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>With more events coming into the space, much like with servers and security there would likely be a need for more chefs/cooks to create a rotating shift schedule so that everyone has time off. This would all go through HR (the hiring and most likely part of the scheduling) to ensure all  employees have a work life balance, but also assuring the right people are assigned to the events they are best suited. Also with a variety of events, the catering menu is likely to be expanding offering the cooks more room to experiment and create. Though this is a wonderful opportunity for those in the position, this would also need to likely be monitored or checked in on by HR just to make sure that if chefs are trying new methods they are doing so safely, and they are being conscious of food allergens and food safety measures.</p>]]></description>
