Without technology, I wouldn't be friends with some people and would never have met them. I think that technology can help kids keep in touch when we cannot actually go outside, but people can also be lazy and use technology even when they can go outside. Technology also helps friendships when they live far apart.

I think that tecnology is a good thing in moderation. You can do alo of good things with technology, but alt of bad things can happen if you spend to much time on it. You should definately spend as much time with your friends in person as possible.

Technology is sometimes good for you. Espeally when you are using it in a positive way like connecting with a relative who live in a different part of the world. I think it is ok to use technology to connect with friends sometimes but not all of the time. I think that technology does not kill friendships but I belive the best way to have a strong friendship is to spend a lot in person. During times like COVID and lockdown though I agree that technology will help keep friendships together until this whole thing is over.

In times like this we don't have any other way to contact our friends. We can't see them in person, and we aren't seeing them in school. So phones make it easy to still see them and talk to them. Overall if teens are having troubles making true friends I don't think it's the phone that's the cause. It might just be the kid.

I don't think that it's killing friendships or whatever but obviously technology has a good and a bad side to it. Over social media you can't always tell who are your true friends because you aren't there to speak with them in person. But on the other hand, social media can definitely help kids due to a lot of people having closer online friends rather than real life friends. In some cases online friends are the most valuable friends in a person's life and without social media they wouldn't be who they are today. In conclusion I think that technology and social media is fine as long as you still socialize with people irl rather than only talk to people on the internet.

I agree that people might not be able to make real friends if they spend too much time online.
Too much online communication could prevent people from forming true friendships.
However, if people balance online communication with social interaction, nothing could get in the way of forming real friendships.
I have my own way of communicating with my friends online through my laptop, but I also meet with my friends in real life, so I balance online communication with social interaction.
Because of this, I do not think that technology is preventing me from forming true friendships in any way.
In conclusion, I do not think technology is killing people's friendships. As long as people don't spend a massive amount of time online, it is not such a bad thing.
Charlotte also made a great point when she said that phones make it easier for people to contact each other during the pandemic, so technology helps people stay connected.
