With more and more people wanting a sustainable salary and limited jobs, this causes the amount of slums to increase, decrease in birth rates which means later on the city will have a smaller labor force this also causes a high dependency ratio mostly orientated with people over the age of 65. The sudden influx of people moving to urban areas also causes more pollution, potential ozone depletion and greenhouse effects could overtake the city due to its need of mass energy that all its inhabitants need. And with its once rural country all of a sudden turning into a urban country, potentially food resources in the city could be largely reduced leading to more need of trade, and with the mass amounts of people needing food but not being able to afford it due to lack of jobs could send the city's economy plunging in value. My suggestion of a solution to this problem is encourage or give higher salaries in agricultural labor jobs.
