A thousand Splendid Suns and Romeo & Juliet show sacrifices by using characterization and conflict. Both stories show that we humans make sacrifices for others no matter what the consequences or risks are.

1: Amir from The Kite Runner metamorphose into stages of character traits; sometimes he is portrayed as a selfish coward while other times he can be seen as a brave soul. 
2:  Romeo from “Romeo and Juliet” was a hopeless romantic doomed from the start which was what Shakespeare perceived him to be, the readers were able to grasp the ending of his fate from the very beginning as a tragic hero. 
3:    For both hero’s an antagonist or a nemesis was used to further the plot, in The Kite Runner it was Assef and for “Romeo and Juliet” it was the Montague and Capulet families that tried to barricade their love. 

 

Redemption is the learning of accepting one’s self and thinking of a plan in order to accept and redeem one’s self.

George Orwell creates meaning in his novels Animal Farm and 1984 by reflecting on the events that happened that showed an impactful significance in countries around the world. This is shown through his characters, setting, and situations and the purpose that the novels are written for review of then-current events that had an impactful magnitude on history as we know it.

 Orwell’s novels create meaning by having his characters, settings, and plots reflects history and actual past events, that are defined very accurately in his novels Animal Farm and 1984.

 We see that the severity of these events and historical figures can be shown and compared to Animal Farm, and the animals, which is Orwell shows that the more comparisons can be made with these events, the worse these historical events were. Orwell creates meaning in his novels as a sign to not follow past mistakes and to not make history write itself again.
